In this update, the modem firmware has not changed, it is still 1.06.00, which means that there is no update for basic features. This update comes with some new features and bug fixes. Apple has also released beta updates for macOS 10.15.5, tvOS 13 Beta 4, and watchOS 6.2.5 Beta 4 updates.
What’s new in iOS 13.5 beta 4?
COVID-19 Exposure Logging: This option replaces “Exposure Notifications” and adds a more detailed description of how the exposure logging works. Also, this setting is working with Authorize app only. So now any 3rd party app can use your data. Exposure Notification API developed by Apple and Google for COVID-19 contact tracing. You can enable it from Settings > Privacy > Health > COVID-19 Exposure Notifications. It securely shares your device id with nearby people and alerts them. It works with iOS with Android both devices.
Face ID improvement: Now if you are wearing a mask on your face, your phone will take you directly to the password screen. This way you don’t have to swipe up twice to enter the password screen.
Music share: A new option is available to share songs, albums, and playlists to Facebook and Instagram Stories.
