The LG launches some innovative as well as bizarre smartphones. But surely they are really unique in their own ways. Now the LG G8X ThinQ and LG Velvet come with dual screens. The LG G8X, Velvet can use wide mode only for few apps such as YouTube. But with the LG G8X wide mode enabler listed below you can use the wide mode with any app. Though it will not work that much well it’s worth a try cause some apps really work great.

This app supports all the LG phones who have dual screens. It’s a free app available on the play store. You can just download and install it on your LG dual-screen smartphone. As you know LG has already the feature that you can use different apps on both screens.
But what this app does is it will launch a pair of apps with a single tap. You can customize which apps you want to launch simultaneously on both screens. Earlier you have to launch the apps separately on both screens. But with this one you just tap one time and both the apps will be launched on respective screens.

2) Wide Mode For LG
If you have used the dual screen LG Phone you may have known about the wide mode. This one is the must apps for LG G8X, LG Velvet. You can use the wide mode with apps like YouTube by default using the built-in system options.
But by using LG G8X wide mode enabler you can force any app for the wide mode. This app uses an internal API and may cause some graphic glitches. But surely it’s worth a try. How To Enable
1) Firstly, download and install the app from the Google play store link above.
2) Now swipe down the notifications panel.
3) In the notification panel, there’s a pen icon click on it to add an icon to the notifications panel.
4) Now look for the wide mode icon and add it to the notification panel.
You can now directly enable the wide mode from the notification panel itself. So this is how the Instagram looks in the wide mode!!

3) Microsoft launcher
Obviously, this is not like an exclusive app for the LG G8X and Velvet. It can work with all the other Android devices. But the thing is we are concerned about the dual screen. This launcher supports the landscape mode, so you should be able to use the dual screen device more effectively.

4) Floating Bar V40
The floating bar is also not exclusive to LG G8X or Velvet device. But it can be helpful when you use the dual screen device in wide mode. You can enable the Floating bar V40 styled on your device.
The floating bar will open when you touch on the bar and will close when you touch outside bar area. You can enable various functions via its tabs that can be customized. There are 8 tabs available you can create shortcuts. Like, Tools, weather, music, contact, website, recent, website, lucky number (random number generation).
