Qualcomm dominates the Android markets and is the most preferable one. Now MediaTek seems to catch up with its budget range chipsets. But the enthusiast developers still prefer the Qualcomm due to the open support for custom ROMs. It’s not that MediaTek doesn’t get the support some popular chipsets MediaTek 6753 got the immense supports too.
