How To Install Service Firmware on Huawei P20 Series
1. First Check OEM Vendor Version Dial *#*#2846579#*#* to access the ProjectMenu menu, choose Network Information Query>Vendor Country Info, and verify that the country and carrier.
2. Download Service Firmware as your device model and OEM and unzip it with 7zip or Winrar.
3. Create a New folder on SD card or USB-OTG and re-name the folder name to “Dload”.
4. Copy update_sd.zip file and EML-**_hw_** folder from Service Firmware Dload folder to Sd card “Dload” folder.
Normal Update Method
- Dial *#*#2846579#*#* to access the ProjectMenu menu, choose Software Upgrade>SDCard Upgrade, and touch OK.
Force Update Method
1. Completely Switch Off The Device.
2. Hold Volume Up + Volume Down + Power Button and Release the key when the update start.
3. Once the update is done switch on the device and do a full factory reset from Setting -> Backup & Reset.
Install customized data package File
1. Once the main package update_sd.zip flashing done now install customized data package.
2. Copy update_sd_***hw_**.zip to Dload Folder.
3. Dial *#*#2846579#*#* to access the ProjectMenu menu, choose Software Upgrade>SDCard Upgrade, and touch OK.
Note:- Some Service Firmware comes with Update.app file so copy Update.app file instead of Zip file.
