Google Assistant is one of the popular personal assistants on lots of devices. Starting from Android to auto devices it’s available on most of the devices. But Google didn’t release the Google Assistant on Windows or macOS. But now you can get Google Assistant on Windows, macOS, or Linux PC using the unofficial installer.
Thanks, to the developer Melvin for getting this method out. Though this is not an official Google app so you should do it at your own risk. But surely you will get Google Assistant on your PC so it’ll be might worth it. The process is long due to its unofficial version but Melvin has written a whole detailed guide.
If you want to get Google Assistant on Windows, macOS, or Linux PC you should follow the steps. If you are not interested in the text article, I have made a video following the same steps so you should check that one out.
Get Google Assistant On Windows, macOS, Linux PC
We all know the assistant available especially on Windows. Cortana is available on Windows, but I don’t who really use it. If you wanna try something different you should get Google Assistant on Windows and other systems.
You will register your Google account in this process. So, obviously, you will be able to control the smart devices right from your PC if that’s the same account. One thing to note that you are creating a Google Cloud account using Melvin’s steps. Also, you are registering your project with Google to use the Google Assistant API. So the app may get taken down…Maybe as per the Android police.
So, I’m gonna get Google Assistant on a Windows laptop. I have made a video following the same steps so you should check that out. I am not going to write the steps here cause the developer already invested his time in writing the whole steps.
