• Please Before Root Backup Your Data.

Guide Is Divided Into 3 steps. Step 1: Flashing Old Firmware And Droidboot Step 2: Which Helps To Run Successfully. Part 2 Requires Your Device Directed To A Temporary Recovery And Rooting Equipment Care. Finally, step 3: Flashing New Firmware And Droidboot Back To The Device.

Complete Step-By-Step Instructions:-

• Step 1: Flashing the old firmware and Droidboot

  1. Intel Flash Lite Installation Tools And Usb Drivers From The Link Above.
  2. Download From The Above Link “venue_7840_droidboots.zip“.
  3. Intel Flash Tools Lite Run On Your Pc, And Connect Your Device Via USB Cable.
  4. Browse Zip File You Just Downloaded.
  5. Choose From A Flash File In The File “1-502_droidboot_and_firmware.xml” Drop-down Menu, Click Start Flashing.
  6. Reboot The Device, And Continue To The Next Section.

• Step 2: Booting Into Temporary Recovery and Rooting Device

• Copy The Downloaded Update-supersu-v2.46.zip This File To Your Device.
• Unzip The ‘intelandroid-fbrl-05-16-2015-ptr.7z‘ File Using 7 Zip And Open ‘launcher.bat’ File.
• Now, Type The New Window “accept” Open As Shown Below ⇓
• • 
• Make Sure Your Device Is Properly Connected To The Pc And Device Status Tool Adb Online Or Fastboot Method – Online.
• Now Type “t4” Select Trigger 4, As Shown Below. This Will Boot Your Device Into The Temporary Recovery.
• • 
• Temporary Cwm Recovery Process Should Start, Then Select From The Recovery Menu, Use The Volume / Volume Down To Navigation And Power Select.and Navigate To The Supersu.zip File And Confirm The Installation Zip File.
• Root Your Device Once Installation Is Complete.
• Please check with the root check app, if you successfully rooted in Android5.1 Dell Venue87840 lollipop

Temporary Cwm Recovery Process For Some Intel And Equipment Locked Boot Loader.
It Is Not Intended To Be Used To Install Custom Roms If Device Has A Locking Device Will Not Start Bootstrap Unsigned Images.

• Part 3: Flashing New Firmware And Droidboot

• Open The Intel Flash Tools Lite And Browse “venue_7840_droidboots.zip” Again.
• Now Select ‘2-510_droidboot.xml “, Then Click Starts Blinking.
• Then Select “3-510_firmware.xml“, Then Click Starts Blinking.
• Restart The Device And Enjoy.
