We already posted Lenovo Vibe K5 twrp install and root method but it’s no more working in new update so here the new guide working with Android Marshmallow new updates. This guide helps you to install twrp recovery on Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus, Root Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus and installing twrp recovery. Lenovo launched Vibe K5 Plus after success in Lenovo K4 Note, February 2016 Lenovo launched Lenovo launched Vibe K5 Plus with Snapdragon 616 processor. Lenovo still used Android 5.1 Lollipop in Vibe K5 Plus, but they released Marshmallow recently. The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus comes with 5.0 inch HD 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels Full Hd display. Vibe K5 Plus Powered by Snapdragon 616 processor 1.2 GHz octa-core processor 2GB of ram. About the storage, it has 16GB of internal memory Expandable up to 32GB. About the camera, Vibe K5 Plus has 13 – megapixel dual back camera and 5-megapixel front for selfies. The Vibe K5 Plus is running on Android 5.1 and is a 2750mAh Non-removable battery.
This device can’t be rootable with a phone so you have to install twrp recovery install then you can root with super-su. The new device launched with bloatware only rooted phone user can remove this bloatware. Twrp recovery will help you to install custom ROM’s mods viper4android, Xposed framework, and other mods.
Preparation:-
- Charge Your Device.
- Backup Phone Apps, Contacts, SMS.
- Enable developer options.
Go To Settings -> About Phone -> Tap On “Build Number” 7 Times To Enable Developer Options.
- Enable USB Debugging.
Go To Your Settings -> Developer Options -> Tick The “Usb Debugging” Checkbox .
- Enable OEM Unlock.
Go To Your Settings -> Developer Options -> Tick The“Oem Unlock” Check box
- Install Lenovo ADB Fastboot Driver -> Link.
- Download and unzip Adb–fastboot Tool, Download Twrp Recovery For your model (Check Model No Build From Setting -> About.
- Download Super-Su Zip.
- Read Guide.

Instruction To Install Twrp 3.0 Recovery On Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus:-
1.) Read Preparation Download and unzip “adb-fastboot-tool-2016.zip“.
2.) Download Twrp 3.0 Recovery rename it to recovery.img and copy it to adb-fastboot-tool-2016 folder.
3.) Connect your phone to PC and open a cmd window on adb-fastboot-tool-2016 folder by Shift + Mouse Right – Open Cmd Here.
4.) Now type or paste this commands to turn on your phone into fastboot or manually by a press and hold Volume Up + Power Then Select Bootloader.
adb reboot bootloader
- Flash twrp recovery Via This Bellow Command.
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
- Install Twrp for temporary to root the device use this command
fastboot boot recovery.img
- Reboot Your Phone Normal Mode Via This Bellow Command

Guide To Root Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus
- Copy (SuperSU-v2.46 for Lollipop SuperSU-v2.78 Android M, SuperSU-v2.79 For Android 7.0) to Internal storage.
- Turn off your phone.
- Turn on Your Phone Into Recovery Mode By Hold (Volume Up + Volume Down +Power).
Or reboot recovery by adb command “adb reboot recovery”
- Go To Install Flash SuperSU zip“.
- Back and Reboot.
Reboot and enjoy check root access with root checker
Note: – You can back anytime to stock by flash stock recovery from mirror link for install OTA.
