Suddenly, Apple introduced the iPhone SE 2020 today on its official handles. iPhone SE previous version launched long ago. No one expected it to be announced today. The design is the same as iPhone 8, and they announced at half of the iPhone 11 prices with A13 Bionic chipset. One of the most powerful mobile platform ARM chipset available today. Design and Display:
The design is the same as that of the iPhone 8. The device is IP67 protection dust and waterproof protection. This is really the best thing that the protection is provided even for the SE version, unlike another brand that needs to go up to 8th generations and still don’t provide the IP67. Talking about the display, the display is of a 4.7-inch retina display with a resolution of 1136 X 640 pixels. The rear glass finish includes a centered Apple logo and is made using a seven-layer color process for precise hue and opacity, delivering a rich depth of color with a color-matched aluminum band. The display supports Dolby’s Vision and HDR10 playback. It also supports Apple Touch ID and all the other Apple services.
Performance and Battery
The main factor and most powerful factor of this iPhone SE is the Apple Bionic A13 chipset. The A13 chipset is the fastest chipset on the mobile platform till now. iPhone SE screen is small so there will powerful performance and battery life is expected. The 6 Core A13 chipset is the same chipset that is provided on the iPhone 11 series. Because of the lower resolution, it may perform even better on the iPhone SE. Talking about the RAM, the RAM provided is 3GB which is enough for the iOS optimization which is the best one.
As always Apple doesn’t reveal the direct capacity of the battery. The reveal as per apple is like, 40 hours of audio playback, 13 hours of video playback. There are 3 different storage options are available, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. yeah, the Apple iPhone SE 2020 supports wireless charging and supports fast charging which gives 50% of charge in 30 minutes as per Apple. Though we are not sure the charger will be included in the box or not. 😀
Cameras
The iPhone SE consists of as always the single megapixels camera with f/1.8 aperture. But with the A13 Bionic and iOS optimizations this is surely taking some good shots. The many popular Apple’s portrait effects are supported in this device. The portrait can be work only on humans, but the portrait is really good. Apple also published that, the new smart HDR feature is now available on SE to get more refined and natural color accurate pictures.
Talking about the video capturing capability, iPhone SE can record 4K 60FPS max, 30FPS with more dynamic range. With the features of iOS 13 you can edit picture really good. According to the Apple, cinematic video stabilization is now available on both front and rear cameras with studio quality audio recording. Much much bigger marketing words Apple can throw literally.
