After the leak of the most hyped Windows 11 its time for the official release. Though there were buffered delays in the live stream of the event. One of the most popular features is coming to Windows 11. Microsoft with the help of Amazon Appstore is now bringing Android Apps to Windows 11 directly. You won’t need to install those emulator things anymore.
This is surprising feature which was revealed today. Till now to run Android apps we all have to use the Android emulators like Bluestacks, NoxPlayer etc. Microsoft says it’s using Amazon’s Appstore to bring Android apps to Windows 11. Apps will be listed in the new Windows store, and Microsoft is also partnering with Intel to use its Intel Bridge technology to make this a reality. Android apps on Windows 11 can be pinned to the taskbar or snapped alongside traditional Windows apps.

The Android apps to windows can be seen a competitive move to tackle Apple with their M1 chipsets Macs. Also, Microsoft is partnering with Intel to make this Android apps to Windows a reality using Intel bridge technology. The Android apps can be pinned to taskbar just like with the Windows apps. The hardware seems to be needed to support Intel bridge technology but let’s see what Microsoft will do.
In the live event, Microsoft demonstrated the TikTok app on Windows. So most likely the apps available on the Amazon app store can be supported for Windows 11. Also, more apps can jump into this sooner or later. Microsoft was trying to get the Android apps to Windows 11 for years playing with lots of methods.
Now it seems like they made it. We will see how it will work in real time when the official Windows 11 makes out its way. If you are concerned about paying for Windows 11, Windows 11 will be free for existing Windows 10 users. Just like Windows 10 was a free upgrade from Windows 8. The exact release date is not available yet but Microsoft said it will be available this coming holiday.
