Recently, lots of users are tweeting about the Paytm removed from the play store. Most of the people were suggesting it as a Chinese Apps Ban. But it’s not the Chinese apps ban related anything. You may have seen the Paytm launching Fantasy League like Dream11 on its app. Paytm was not hosting the app but it was redirecting to the same app.
Google Policy doesn’t allow any types of Gambling apps, or any other apps showing the sports betting. There were lots of apps and games in Paytm First games. Also, they recently revealed IPL (Indian premier League) betting on Team11 through external links.
Paytm Removed From Play Store
Google doesn’t allow these apps and this is the reason why Paytm removed from play store. Most probably it will be back after the issue will be addressed by Paytm. You may know Dream 11 the official sponsor for this year’s IPL. Still, its not available on the Play Store. Because its a gambling app betting on real sports.
We don’t allow online casinos/support any unregulated gambling apps that facilitate sports betting. It includes if the app leads consumers to an external website that allows them to participate in paid tournaments to win real money/cash prizes.

Most probably you don’t need to worry about Paytm. Government didn’t banned the app its just removed from Play Store and it may come back soon. Google Policies are strict and they are now imposed on PayTm. Also, CNBC tweeted about the same.
