Recently Government Of India banned the PubG Mobile in India. Both PubG Mobile and PubG Mobile lite were banned along with 118 other Chinese Apps. as The Pubg Mobile have Tencent as their investor this may be the main cause for the ban. After few days of Pubg Mobile Ban, Pubg corporation responds to the situation and it may come back soon.
This situation matters a lot for PubG because Pubg mobile has a lot of userbase from India. According to recent reports from OutLook India, about 33Million players are from India out of 50M play store downloads. So it matters a lot to Pubg when this huge userbase is gone suddenly. Though the Pubg Mobile is banned from Play Store India, it’s still working for those who have it installed on their smartphone.
But it may stop anytime soon. Now Pubg corporation responds to the Pubg mobile ban in India. In its statement, Pubg Corporation thanked the massive support from the Indian Pubg community. Let’s know more about what will change.

If you don’t know Pubg Corporation is South Korean Company. Even the Pubg PC is fully owned by the Pubg Corporation based in the South Korea. But the Mobile versions are with the Tencent partnerships and some investments. Pubg Corporation reponded,
In light of recent developments, PUBG Corporation has made the decision to no longer authorize the PUBG MOBILE franchise to Tencent Games in India. Moving forward, PUBG Corporation will take on all publishing responsibilities within the country. As the company explores ways to provide its own PUBG experience for India in the near future, it is committed to doing so by sustaining a localized and healthy gameplay environment for its fans.

Now the only option for Pubg Corporation is to unauthorize Tencent games in India. So from now, Pubg Mobile will be the sole property of Pubg Corporation and they might look for other investors soon. For now, Pubg Corporation will take all the business of Pubg Mobile in India itself.
