The latest Ryzen 4000 chipset is a 7nm chipset from AMD. It improves performance by 60%. The Redmibook equipped with Ryzen R5 4500U and R7 4700U. The laptop looks ultra-thin with the edges are trimmed down even more. This Redmibook has relatively very thin bezels compared to previous editions. RedmiBook 16
Redmibook comes with the 3 variants. The 13, 14, 16 inches variants are launched today. Pricing varies for each of these models. Talking about the display it is 16.1 inch display with 90% screen ration. The bezels are measured to be only 3.57mm in size. It also has the sRGB 100% high color gamut. As mnetioned previously it comes with R5 4500U and R7 4700U chipsets. These chipsets give 60% improvement in performance.
It has a Vega Radeon RX graphics card. The 16-inch variant has 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD storage. The interesting thing is this Ryzen chipset is coming with the 3 modes. These Full speed, balanced and quiet modes. You can easily access and change these settings using the Fn key. Xiaomi revealed in the launch that these 3 modes will be ideal for gaming, office work, and normal tasks respectively. Also the full speed mode is supposed to give a 34% performance boost.
Talking about the power, it is provided with a USB C type port. It comes with the 65W charging support. The charging adapter looks the same as the mobile adapter you can see in the picture. The USB type C ports can be used to charge smartphones too.
