Root Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G Q413 Install TWRP Recovery
This guide will help you to root Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G Q413 Install TWRP Recovery on Android Lollipop and Marshmallow. Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G can’t be rootable with Kingroot and other root apps in Marshmallow. But xda forum member created a guide that will help you to root Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G Q413. This guide both working on Android 6.0 marshmallow and Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
Xda forum member aravazhi_mdr found a method and TWRP Recovery it will really root your Canvas Xpress 4G. To Root Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G Q413 you have to first Flash TWRP 3.0.2 Recovery with SP Flash Tool. Then you have to install SuperSU-v2.46.zip via twrp recovery, all you have to need a Windows PC and follow the guide.
After install TWRP recovery, you can root the device, remove bloatware Stock apps, and you can also customize your device in Android 6.0. Twrp recovery will help you to install custom ROM’s, install viper4android, Xposed framework, and other mods.
Preparation:-
- Charge Your Device.
- Backup Phone Apps, Contacts, SMS.
- Enable developer options.
Go To Settings -> About Phone -> Tap On “Build Number” 7 Times To Enable Developer Options.
- Enable USB Debugging.
Go To Your Settings -> Developer Options -> Tick The “Usb Debugging” Checkbox .
- Enable OEM Unlock.
Go To Your Settings -> Developer Options -> Tick The“Oem Unlock” Check box
- Install Micromax and MTK Driver => Link.
- Download SP Flash Tool, TWRP and Root File.

Driver => MTK_USB_0.9.7.GizDev.Com.zip
Sp Flash Tool => SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1648.zip
TWRP => Q413-TWRP.zip
Root File=> UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip
Guide to install TWRP Recovery:-
- Download and Install (MTK Driver).
- Download ” SP_Flash_Tool.zip and Q413-TWRP.zip ” and extract both files.
- Open ” SP Flash Tool ” folder and run ” flash_tool.exe “.
- Click on ” Scatter-Loading ” and select MT6735P_Android_scatter-CMD.txt from the Q413-TWRP folder.
- Select flash format to ” Download only “
- Ensure, only ” recovery ” checked.
- Then hit ” Download ” button.
- Now connect your device with the computer using USB cable.
- Flashing will start. After it was done, a green tick will appear.
- Disconnect your device and now you able to customize anything.
Guide To Root Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G Q413:-
- Download “SuperSU-v2.46.zip” copy it to the phone.
- Switch off your device and turn into recovery mode by holding Volume Down + Power at the same time and select Recovery Option by Volume Up Down Key.
- Select Language English Don’t allow “Swipe to Allow Modifications” cancel it in TWRP recovery.
- Go to Install Navigate to “SuperSU-v2.46.zip” and install it.
- Wipe Dalvik Cache.
- Reboot (DO NOT INSTALL TWRP APP).
