There are still a few months to go before the release of Samsung Galaxy Fold 2, but there are details on the Internet about its hardware. Some reports claim that South Korea may announce the Galaxy Note 20 series in the Q3, but there is no specific evidence to support this report. Founder/CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) Ross Young continually share many leaks about Galaxy Fold 2.
The Galaxy Fold 2 features a 6.7 inches flexible Dynamic AMOLED panel. DSCC also claims that the display will have a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will reportedly have a resolution of 2213 x 1689 pixels and the pixel density will be 372 PPI. Also, the source says that the display will have a 120Hz refresh rate and will use the UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass) solution that was first used on the Galaxy Z Flip.
More importantly, both the internal and external screens will use the Infinity-O design, only the camera punching is retained, and the frame is thinner, while the external screen uses a 6.23-inch 60Hz refresh rate display panel with a resolution of 2267×819 px. The front panel brings a standard 60Hz redress rate display. This display will be a Dynamic AMOLED display with a backplane of LTPS, or low-temperature polycrystalline silicon.
It is worth noting that the stylus has always been Samsung ’s iconic design, and the Galaxy Fold 2 may also be equipped with a stylus. It is not yet known how a special slot will be designed to store the stylus. There have been rumours that Samsung will The Fold 2 is equipped with the same camera as the Galaxy S20 +. The battery is 4500mAh and supports 45W fast charging.
Overall, the current news makes the Galaxy Fold 2 as beautiful as we think. Technically, there is no problem for Samsung, depending on the choice of price and all over performance.
