Samsung has included three different methods for a user to take screenshots on the Galaxy A12. The first method is the most popular and traditional way of pressing two hardware buttons at the same time. The other two methods include Samsung’s own software to make it easier.
1. Galaxy A12 Screenshot – Using Key Combination:
This is the first and most common method to take a screenshot of your Galaxy A12 using a key combination.
- Open the screen that you want to capture.
- Then, press the Power button and the Volume Down button at the same time for a couple of seconds.
Do not release the keys until the screen flashes. This flash indicates that the screenshot has been taken. After the screenshots are taken a small popup will appear at the bottom of the screen. The menu will have three options: the first option open the screenshot. The second option is to enable Scroll Capture. The third option is to edit and crop the image. while the last option is to share the image on various platforms.
2. Using Palm Swipe Features:
This is a very useful method for most Samsung devices. Here you can take a screenshot of your Galaxy A12 using the “Palm Swipe to Capture” feature. This feature doesn’t need any hardware button and this trick is very cool.
- Go to the Setting option > Advance Feature > Motions and Gestures.
- Then you can see an option called Palm swipe to capture.
- Enable it.
