About Honor 8: – The smartphone was launched in October 2016. The phone comes with 5.2 inches with Resolution of FHD 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Honor 8 is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 950 1.8 GHz quad-core processor with 4GB of RAM. 32 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB. Go To Settings -> About Phone -> Tap On “Build Number” 7 Times To Enable Developer Options.
- Enable USB Debugging.
Go To Your Settings -> Developer Options -> Tick The “Usb Debugging” Checkbox .
- Enable OEM Unlock.
Go To Your Settings -> Developer Options -> Tick The“Oem Unlock” Check box
- Install Huawei ADB Fastboot Driver -> Link.
- Download ADB Tool, Twrp Recovery Phh’s superuser, phh apk.

Guide To Install Twrp 3.0 On Honor 8 In EMUI 5.0:-
1.) Download and Unzip “adb-fastboot-tool-2016.zip“.
2.) Download twrp-3.0.3-0-frd.img rename it to recovery.img and copy it to adb-fastboot-tool-2016 folder.
3.) Go To adb-fastboot-tool-2016 Folder and open Cmd here by Shift + Mouse Right Button.
4.) Turn Off Your Phone.
5.) Turn On It FASTBOOT Mode by (Volume Down + Power or Connect USB ).
6.) Connect Your Phone To Pc.
7.) Paste this commands and hit enter in the cmd window.
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
- Install temporary to flash super-su for rooting.
fastboot boot recovery.img
8.) Reboot The Device.
fastboot reboot
Guide To Root Honor 8 IN EMUI 5.0:-
- Download and “SuperSU-v2.79.****.zip” .
- Copy “SuperSU-v2.79.****.zip” To Your Phone .
- Turn Off Your Phone.
- Turn On It Recovery Mode by (Volume Up + Power ).
- Go To Install Navigate To The SuperSU-v2.79.****.zip To Install.
- Back and Reboot Your Phone.
Guide To Systemless root Honor 8:- (FOR OTA UPDATES)
- Download “phh’s superuser-r275.zip” and “Superuser_2.0_Beta_9.apk” and copy it to phone or sd card.
- Turn Off Your Phone.
- Turn On It Recovery Mode by (Volume Up + Power ).
- Go To Install Navigate To The “phh’s superuser-r275.zip” Swipe To Install.
- Back and Reboot Your Phone.
- Install “Superuser_2.0_Beta_9.apk” .
- Done.
