If you have bought this phone, then you can now install Custom ROM, Kernel, Mods, Root, or even back up and restore any ROM using TWRP Recovery. First, we will install TWRP recovery For Redmi K30 using ADB. This TWRP is an Unofficial TWRP Recovery.
TWRP Recovery For Redmi K30/Poco X2
TWRP stands for Team-Win Recover Project. We all know that TWRP recovery and rooting your smartphone is useful for customizing your device and installing mods. But installing TWRP recovery, you need some tools. Before doing all those processes first, we need to unlock the bootloader of Poco X2/Redmi K30. Without unlocking the bootloader, you can’t install TWRP on your device. Here we provide Root Poco X2.
Unlock Bootloader:
First, you need to enable USB debugging on your Xiaomi device and unlock the bootloader. Unlock Bootloader Xiaomi Devices.
After unlocking the bootloader, go to the below steps now.

Download all the above-required files and save them on your PC.

Install TWRP For Redmi K30/PocoX2:
1.) Make sure your device bootloader must be unlocked.
2.) Download “adb-fastboot-tool.zip” extract it on a desktop.
3.) You have downloaded the Poco X2 TWRP Image from the downloads section, rename it to recovery.img and copy it to adb-fastboot-tool Folder.
4.) Open cmd windows in “adb-fastboot-tool” folder by Shift + Mouse Right-click.
5.) Connect your device to the PC; make sure USB Debugging is enabled.
6.) Now Reboot your device in Fastboot Mode, using this command.
adb reboot bootloader
- Either reboot your device in fastboot mode manually.
8.) Once your device connected in fast boot mode, Now paste this command on command window and hit enter to install TWRP recovery.
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
9.) Then Paste below command to Reboot Phone.
fastboot reboot
10.) Press POWER and VOL UP button to boot into TWRP Recovery and follow the steps below to get the root.
11.) Now comes the boot image installation i.e root Redmi K30/Poco X2.
Root Redmi K30/Poco X2
Now you have TWRP Recovery installed on your phone. So to root Redmi K30/Poco X2 you need to flash the boot image.
12.) Now you are in TWRP Recovery. Go to the menu.
2.) In TWRP, Go to Install–>Select Install Image–>Select Boot image.
4.) Tap on Boot partition. This is where we install the boot image.
5.) Swipe to flash the image.
6.) After successful flashing, reboot your phone.
7.) Now install Magisk Manager. You will see the root access.
