We will use some other methods to unlock bootloader of Asus Zenpad 3S 10 Z500M (P027). Follow the steps carefully otherwise you will end with no bootable tablet. It should be safe still you are going to do this on your own.

About the Bootloader Unlock:
An XDA forum developer by diplomatic brings the method to unlock this tablet. There are two methods of unlocking the bootloader of this device. One is by using magisk to make stock boot image and other is to flash the TWRP temporarily. Then flashing the image which will be used to unlock bootloader of Asus Zenpad 3S 10 Z500M.
Requirements:
- Asus Zenpad 3S 10 Z500S (P027) upgraded to Android N
- A rooted or patched image by using Magisk for method 1
- Temporary root of Magisk or by SuperSu for method 1
- TWRP Image for method 2

Instructions For Method 1:
- You need offline patched boot image if you don’t have one get it by using the Magisk. Transfer the image to PC.
- Now you need to reboot your tablet in fastboot mode. and connect it to PC before rebooting to fastboot mode.
- Now open the adbflashtool and run the command prompt there and type the command,
fastboot boot patched_boot.img
- patched_boot image is the name of boot image that you have got from the Magisk.
- Download the tools ZIP from below link and extract it to /data/local/temp folder.
- Open the root shell now by hitting this command,
adb shell
- after this command type,
su
- Now change the shell directory to that folder. /data/local/tmp
- Run this command to lock or unlock the bootloader.
sh unlockbl.sh
- Follow the onscreen instructions to get forward with the process. Chek for completion if completed then bootloader is unlocked.

Method 2:
- Download the latest TWRP recovery from the downloads section.
- Download the tools ZIP from below link and extract it to /data/local/temp folder.
- Now you need to reboot your tablet in fastboot mode. and connect it to PC before rebooting to fastboot mode. Hit the following command now.
fastboot boot twrp-twrp-3.2.1-0-z500m.img
- Start TWRP in tethered mode. On the main screen (welcome screen) of TWRP do not modify the system partition keep the system in read only mode!!!!!
- Mount system in TWRP read only mode.
- Open the root shell now by hitting this command,
adb shell
- Now change the shell directory to that folder. /data/local/tmp
- Run this command to lock or unlock the bootloader.
sh unlockbl.sh
Follow the onscreen instructions to get forward with the process. Check for completion if completed then bootloader is unlocked.
