Xiaomi out of nowhere now released the transparent TV. A while ago there was news that LG is working on the transparent TV, but they didn’t released it yet. Also, Panasonic was leaking some information about the same but they didn’t released it either. Now Xiaomi Transparent TV is released in China today.
Obviously, this will target the premium segment of its users. There is no information about its launch outside China as for now. The TV is 55 inch with OLED display. This will be only variant with a 55 inch display. Another best thing is the display will be of 120hz refresh rate.
Back in 2019 CES, LG and Panasonice revealed their transparent TV lineup. LG released the same 55 inch TV in 2019 with 38% transparency. Talking about the panasonic one they only released the prototypes. This Xiaomi Transparent TV is the first one to be available for consumers now.
Xiaomi Transparent TV
The Xiaomi TV comes with the 55 inch OLED display. The 120hz refresh rate is supported on this TV. Xiaomi transparent TV has only about 5.7mm thickness bezels. also, the 1ms of response time.
The TV is supported by AI master. Other specifications are mentioned in the image above. Though it’s still not sure how much time they are going to take make this consumer-available. But they have revealed the price. The Xiaomi Transparent TV price starts from 49999 YUAN which roughly equals to $7200. You can see more pictures here.
A year ago LG made better designed TV but that is in prototype. this was the LG Transparent TV model showed in the last year. It was better designed but LG didn’t made it available to the consumer.
