One of the most popular YouTube Modded App Vanced is now discontinued after a legal notice from Google. Vanced officially published the discontinuation notice on March 13 on their telegram channel, the old version will still work but they will not release a new update. Now, after the discontinuation, everyone is looking for an alternative, and a few days later, some Github members created an alternative to Vanaced called it ReVanced. For legal reasons, the ReVanced team does not distribute any proprietary file or manager to install the latest YouTube version with one click. The team instead provides open-source patches, and you have to patch and create the app on your own. Currently, you have to patch the YouTube app from a PC by using the Azul Zulu Java tool and repositories or by Revanced Manager to patch the YouTube App from your phone in the next updates but for now, you can Patch YouTube and Create ReVanced APK from a PC.
What Is App ReVanced?
ReVanced is a patcher to Mod and enables premium features apps like YouTube. This project was created by GitHub members after Vanced’s discontinuation. The Project is still in development mode and you can learn more about it from ReVanced’s Github page.

- Seekbar Tapping: Easily navigate through videos by tapping the seekbar, avoiding the need to drag the slider.
- Amoled Theme: Embrace a sleek pure black theme, enhancing both aesthetics and battery life on AMOLED displays.
- Hide Cast Button: Reduce on-screen clutter by hiding the Cast button if it’s not in use.
- Disable Create Button: Minimize distractions by disabling the Create feature when unnecessary.
- Minimized Playback: Listen to YouTube audio continuously, even when switching to other apps or turning off the screen.
- Old Quality Layout: Revert to the original quality flyout menu for a familiar and user-friendly interface.
- Hide YT Shorts: Remove the Reels button if you don’t use the feature, keeping the screen tidy.
- Disable Shorts Button: Turn off the Shorts feature button to further declutter the interface.
- Locale Config Fix: Resolve issues related to incorrect locale settings, ensuring smooth app performance.
- Resource Provider for Resource Mapping: Benefit from a resource provider, though its exact purpose remains unclear.

Non-Root User Guide
1. First Uninstall the new youtube update from Setting Apps.
2. Copy the YouTube Revanced Extended and YouTube Revanced Extended Music APK, and microg.apk to your phone.
3. Install the patched YouTube Revanced Extended apps and the microg Apk.
4. Open Revanced app and sign in with your Google account and Enjoy 🙂
5. Turn Off automatic App updates on YouTube to ensure the App doesn’t update automatically.

For Rooted device Magisk users download the Magisk version zip file and install the Magisk modules zip file and reboot your device. Use zygisk-detach module to detach rooted ReVanced YouTube and YT Music from the Play Store.
